History of Wisconsin Bowhunting 1930 – 2016 by Bill McCrary
Campfire Reflections by T. J. Conrads.
This book covers bowhunting in North America, including small game, birds, and big game, with a special section on personal essays about the hunt, friends here and gone, and outdoor ruminations.
Mapping Trophy Bucks by Bran Herndon. Through years of dedicated hunting and careful study of maps and photos, Herndon has perfected the use of maps to find the routes deer travel. And once you know where the deer will be headed you can establish the perfect ambush site.
Peterson’s Bowhunting Magazine. A hunting and fishing magazine that is written for fans of the outdoors, as well as for the dedicated archer who loves the latest gear. Bowhunting is published by Outdoors Sportsman Group.

The Complete Book of Bowhunting by Chuck Adams. Chuck Adams is THE authority! Any of his books are pure gold for a bowhunter with this one being indispensable to any hunter, new or old. It has been referred to as the “bowhunter’s bible.”
A Look at Life from a Deer Stand: Hunting for the Meaning of Life by Steve Chapman.

The Hunting Beast podcast and forum. Dan Infalt is a living legend and absolutely full of knowledge, especially when it comes to killing mature public land bucks.
Primitive Pursuit website and podcast. This site started off as a blog, and has since moved to a traditional bowhunting podcast as well. Their main goal is to get youth into traditional bowhunting.
The Push Podcast: A traditional archery show
The Hunt Backcountry Podcast. The #HuntBackcountry podcast has one purpose: to give you the information you need to become a more capable, confident, and successful backcountry hunter. No fluff. No B.S.
Petersen’s Bowhunting Radio. The official podcast of hardcore bowhunters. Join Editor Christian Berg as he interviews archery’s foremost experts and biggest personalities in the bowhunting industry.
The Stickbow Chronicles. A podcast devoted to the adventure of hunting with traditional archery equipment.
Tradquest Podcast. Hunting the hard way. Technology in today’s world has changed our way of life, always going faster, trying to get more done. BowJunkie Podcasts. The owner of Bowjunky media is Greg Poole. Greg has competed in archery, professionally, for many years. Additionally, he works with manufacturing companies in the archery industry. Greg provides unique exposure and insight into the sport of archery and the industry itself.
Wired To Hunt Podcast. One of the most downloaded and highest-rated deer hunting podcast on the internet. They cover all things whitetail, and in each episode they share new strategies, expert interviews, and discuss their own stories throughout the hunting season.
Meateater Podcast. Host Steven Rinella brings a deep and relevant look at all outdoor topics including hunting, fishing, nature, conservation, and wild foods. Filled with humor, irreverence and things that will surprise the hell out of you, each episode welcomes a diverse group of guests who add their own expertise to the vast world of the outdoors.

Online Archery Academy offers clear, easy to understand advice and training. This site is run by Ashe Morgan and his wife Songi Woo. Ashe competes internationally for the British team and is currently training towards making the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Archery 360. This website also has a magazine and many “how to” videos for archery.
Archery Resources: Television Shows & YouTube Channels
Nock On TV. This show by Nock on Archery comes highly recommended by many people. The host, John Dudley is extremely informative and entertaining.
Relentless Pursuit with Tim Fells on the Sportsman Channel.
Each episode features incredible shots on everything from hogs to frogs. You’ll see stars from the NFL like the Viking’s Jared Allen, Boomer Grigsby, and Green Bay’s Bill Schroeder.
The Hunting Public. An online video series that focuses on relating to all groups of hunters. By hunting in a variety of different situations they teach viewers different strategies for harvesting game.
Clay Hayes YouTube Channel. Traditional archery tips, recurve bow hunting, deer hunting, elk hunting, bow building, wilderness survival skills, longbows, selfbows, and more.
Archery Resources: Facebook Pages
Beastmode Bowhunting page is run by people who are passionate about the archery industry. It covers competitive archery and hunters. They also include information for youth and showcase kids giving their own tips on all things archery and hunting related. This page includes many giveaways to kids in order to promote youth archery. Follow them today!
